Last January, my wife and I made a trip to Paris, France, to look into moving there. While there, we had the delight of eating escargot. For those of you who are not familiar with the term it means snails. As an american, this honestly sounded repulsive to me…but the french are known for their food, and my wife and I are always up for a new food experience, so we went for it.
The texture was what one would expect, slippery and like a thick gummy. The taste was very good, granted anything with that much butter and garlic and herbs has to be good!
Verdict? Not horrible, but not sure when I’ll order it again on my own accord.
